Asian Pitch selects winning docus
Tokyo, japan, japan -- MediaCorp, NHK and KBS have selected three projects for your Asian Pitch -- a regional pitching event for Asian docu-makers, the partners introduced on Friday. The Three individuals who win, selected from nearly 100 distribution and 10 short-listed nominees, can get full funding within the partners. Raja Shabir Khan (India), Park Hwan-Sang (Columbia) and Mohammed Redhaudeen Bin Hassan (Malaysia) all plan to quickly launch production and possess their docus ready for worldwide broadcast by summer season 2012. Khan's "Shepherds of Paradise" follows India's nomadic shepherds, Park's "The Bridle of Equine Fighter" will focus on males within the Miao minority mixed up in sport of horsefighting, and Bin Hassan's "The Wild Zoysia Hunter" will examine the lives of untamed zoysia potential predators in Malaysia. The Asia Pitch travelled the ten short-listed nominees to Singapore, where they pitched their projects to producers from MediaCorp, NHK and KBS. The program is becoming within the fifth year.
