Which type of piano sheet music should I get for piano/voice?

I've been playing for about two years just the piano, but now I want
to be able to cover songs and accompany my voice with the piano
without having the whole vocal line. On sheet music, can you turn it
in to both or should I be getting a accompaniment and full sheet
music if that makes sense. I would like to be able to play the full
song also.
